Mindset story: Is it a problem having three strands of hair and then none
One morning, a woman woke up and stretched as she got out of bed. She walked over to the mirror, ready to start her day, and noticed something unusual she had only three strands of hair left on her head. She smiled at her reflection and thought to herself, “Well, I think I’ll braid my hair today.” And so she did. With a neat little braid, she went about her day feeling confident and happy, enjoying everything life had to offer. The next morning, she woke up and, out of habit, glanced at the mirror again. This time, she saw that she had only two strands of hair left. Instead of feeling sad or discouraged, she nodded to herself and thought, “I think I’ll part my hair down the middle today.” With a careful hand, she arranged her hair just so, and she stepped out into the world, embracing the day with joy and positivity. Another morning came, and as she looked in the mirror once more, she noticed that only a single strand of hair remained. She tilted her head and chuckled softly. “Well,” she thought, “today I’m going to wear my hair in a ponytail.” With that, she gathered her single strand and secured it just as she had planned. She spent the day feeling lighthearted, enjoying the simple pleasures that life had to offer.
Then came the next morning. She took a deep breath and approached the mirror, as she always did. This time, she saw that she had no hair left at all. For a moment, she stood still, then suddenly, a bright smile spread across her face. “Yippie!” she thought, “I don’t have to fix my hair today!” And with that, she laughed, ready to take on the day without a worry in the world. Through all these mornings, the woman never let her changing appearance bring her down. Instead, she embraced each day with optimism, finding joy in whatever she had. She understood that happiness wasn’t about what she lost, but about how she chose to see the world. And because of her attitude, every single day remained beautiful and full of possibilities.
Moral of the story:
